Aphidotetes aphidimyza is a mosquito. It is used in biological agriculture because it is a natural enemy of certain varieties of lice.

Problem is, these mosquitos are not easy to breed. Well - that was a problem until researches found out these mosquitos like bondage.

They use spider webs to do that. The male mosquito deliberately flies into a spider web, entangles himself and next start to wing around, produce feromones and attract females, They next fly into the themselves, have sex and afterwards both male and female can detach themselves from the web and leave.

So .... the next time you see a spider web: remember that it is a play dungeon for bondage hungry mosquitos and respect it as yet another kinky resoruce accordingly.
