We are starting to add events to the events calender as the announcements arrive on our news desk.

But here is no reason why you shouldn't add your event, gathering, munch or party as well. In fact, we encourage members to do so. Not only is it excellent promo for the event, it is also a great way to meet other community members. By hitting the "join" button you will appear in the list of mebers, planning to attend any particluar event. Hence, you can check if your friends - or potential new friends - will go there as well and make some arrangements to meet each other.

This means that you do not have to be an organiser to announce events. If you are "just" a party animal you can add your favorite events as well.

For this you use the events calender.

Step 1: check the calender, find a party or event you fancy or that you are already planning to join (of you are joining some party that isn't listed ye, add it)

Step 2: hit the "join" button - this will list your profile as one of the event participants and will point others to the fact that you will be there. 

Step 3: see if other KC members will be there, contact them and .....

...... well .... that's it.
