Adult Internet Industry Leaders Wasteland and Powerotics join forces
A new adult social network is born
Boston (USA) / Amsterdan (NL) - May 6, 2008 - Adult Internet pioneers Wasteland.com and Powerotics.com - both operating adult oriented websites since 1994 - have joined forces in an effort to counter the increasing unwelcoming attitude towards members of the non-mainstream sexual society by general social networking sites.
Kinkculture.com - proud to be kinky - is a multi-kink, totally free social network site offering "those who feel different" a platform to express themselves, socialize, make friends and in general be socially active on the Internet without the risk of profiles and friends networks being blocked and removed without any warning, as has become the generally adopted policy by most general social networks.
Kinkculture.com caters every inclination: heterosexual, homosexual, transgender, curious or otherwise. A group of site hosts (a relatively new phenomena in the social networking world) operates as guides, help and in general person to talk to.
As a backoffice Kinkculture.com staff members are also active on several platforms where they provide general and inclination-specific free sexuality advice.
The new initiative, that took off this month after several months of extensive testing, is multilingual (English and Dutch currently, with German being added soon) and offers a wide variety of free services. These include chat and instant messaging (both with audio and video capability), emailing, groups discussion, an extensive informational section and newsfeeds from around the world.
This on top of networking, partnersearch and matchmaking facilities - activities that are of prime importance to all sexual minorities, since being able to relate to and communicate with others is the most important aspect of coming out and self-acceptance.
